Why an Annual Boiler Service Matters

Manufacturers generally require a yearly service by a Gas Safe registered engineer to keep the warranty valid. A service also catches faults early, before they become a breakdown in the middle of winter.

What a service includes

The engineer checks gas pressure and flow, inspects the flue and seals, tests safety devices, analyses combustion and cleans components where needed.

Landlords

Landlords must have gas appliances safety-checked every 12 months and give tenants a copy of the Gas Safety Record.
